2025 Harvest
A Milestone Year for Our Vineyard
As the 2025 harvest comes to a close, we’re thrilled to share some incredible milestones achieved this season. For the first time since taking over in 2022, we’ve been able to produce wine from our Tempranillo, Merlot, and Chardonnay. This marks a significant step forward in our journey, and we couldn’t be more excited to see how these varieties develop.
Adding to the excitement, Oakmore’s Shiraz has been introduced this year, showing early promise during processing and offering a tantalising preview of its potential.
Overcoming Challenges
While the weather this year was nothing short of spectacular, we faced challenges that are all too familiar to vineyard owners. Despite our efforts to protect the vines with nets, the local bird population managed to claim their share of the yields.
Next year, we’re determined to explore additional measures to minimise their impact and safeguard our crops further.
Wrapping Up in the Wine Shed
In the wine shed, the hard work is nearly complete for now. Every process has been approached with precision and care, ensuring the best possible results for our 2025 wines.
Looking forward to potential blends and stand alone esates to bottle early next year.
Plans for the Year Ahead
After pausing our upgrade plans to prioritise this year’s vintage, we’re now shifting our focus back to infrastructure improvements and soil preparation.
Stay tuned for more updates, including a special announcement about the new variety we’ll be introducing. The journey continues, and we’re grateful to have you along for the ride!
