Our Story

Nestled in the breathtaking Macedon Ranges Wine Region, Limestone Track Vineyard has been a cherished part of Central Victoria since 1989. Founded by John and Judy Burford and their family, this vineyard was born from a passion for viticulture, inspired by the traditions of Swiss Italian pioneers who first recognised the region's unique potential.

Over the years, Limestone Track has flourished, producing exceptional wines that reflect the character of the land. With its rolling hills and rich, fertile soil, the vineyard is ideally suited for a diverse array of red and white grape varieties. Each bottle tells a story of meticulous care, as our wines are crafted from handpicked fruit, lovingly nurtured and processed using traditional winemaking methods. This dedication ensures that every sip captures the essence of our terroir.

In April 2022, we had the honour of taking over this beautiful estate. Inspired by the legacy of the Burford family, we embarked on a journey of revitalisation, reimagining the vineyard while respecting its rich history. Through thoughtful refurbishments and replanting initiatives, we are committed to elevating the quality of our wines and welcoming visitors to share our story.
